It is with great joy that we extend this invitation to the FIRST COCOA FESTIVAL that will take place in Puerto Vallarta and Bahía de Banderas.

The purpose of this event is to create a space for SOCIAL and CULTURAL EXCHANGE about cocoa, this very special seed, which has gained a lot of strength and popularity today and is an important part of the history of pre-Hispanic Mexico.

We will have as special guests GRANDPARENTS Efrén Hernández Maldonado and Edilberto Díaz Cruz, important figures from the communities that preserve the MAYA tradition of Tabasco, and who will take us on a journey through the ANCESTRAL MEMORY that has always seen cocoa as a plant sacred, and they will show us more about the relationship they have with cocoa, since for them it is food, culture, family, community, medicine, biodiversity, life.
