A kiss started the chain of reactions that managed to separate them. Every day after school they hid inside an abandoned house and holding hands, they spent hours looking into each other's eyes, almost unable to believe that experiencing such intense love was possible,
but that day in the high school bathrooms the need to feel her gave way to what two people who love each other should have universal right, although in those years in the remote town where it happened no one would have understood it. When the families were notified of the forbidden relationship their daughters were having, they forced them to take different paths, it was just a kiss, however, twenty years later I find myself talking to a woman in the middle of a desolated town, who sadly reminds me of the girl of her dreams, as today she has a husband and children. They don't talk anymore, but at night they feel an empty space in their chest, something is missing, maybe another kiss.
