Premio Maguey celebrates its fifth anniversary in Puerto Vallarta showcasing the best of queer/LGBTTTI (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, transsexual, transvestite, and intersex) cinematography. Maguey Award has established itself as the most important competition of its kind in Latin America, in addition to being an integral part of the International Film Festival in Puerto Vallarta.
Since its first edition, Premio Maguey aimed to legitimize and recognize queer/LGBTTTI cinematography in the world, in addition to providing a space that promotes diversity and acceptance.
